The Challenge
Provide a classic look to frame PPI’s story,
and to provide customer’s secure access to call log and accounting
data.
The Solution
ActionWeb Services designed and developed a polished
classical look-feel for the web site and built the static portion
of the PPI Communications web site. Next, PPI and ActionWeb Services
staff collaborated to integrate their message. Finally, ActionWeb
Services integrated a secure system to present select information
from PPI’s call log and billing systems in concise, visually
appealing online reports, for each individual customer. Initial
customer polls showed that only 1% of PPI’s customers desired
the online reporting. Six months after implementation, over 30%
of the customers were using the reports, and growing steadily.
Feedback from customers has been great.
Customers service calls have been reduced dramatically
as customers are now able to receive in depth account information
without calling a staff member.
As an additional feature, by clarifying the billing
process and statements, billing revenue has increased by over 15%.
In less than 6 months, the increased revenue more than paid for
the cost of the site.
